Our story

A family, an alley and a truffle

Konoba aba sits at the dead end of a narrow stone alley in old Poreč — hidden enough that guests have described hunting for it for years. The family lives in the apartment directly above the dining room, and you are usually welcomed by the owner's son.

The cooking is Istrian and Mediterranean: black and white truffle according to the season, Adriatic fish according to the day's catch, fresh pasta, and their own bread, cheese and olive oil. The room is small, with a handful of tables in the courtyard — booking is recommended.
